About the Author

David has been a staff pastor for 30 years, primarily as a Worship Leader in churches of various sizes in 5 states. He has a passion for not only leading people in worship, but to lead them to live a lifestyle of worship. David is also passionate about developing and mentoring young worship leaders who have a call to become the next generation of leaders. Married for 25 years, David and his wife, Meriam, have one son, Chris, who is 18. Chris is a very gifted and talented musician and plans to attend college to study music. Meriam is the Executive Director of a San Antonio non-profit foundation for scientific research funding. David has written several worship songs and is the author of the blog, New Songs of Praise.
