Archie the Royal Hot Water Bottle Part One by Suzie Louis
Published: April 13, 2012
eBook Synopsis
We need to rethink our attitude to the noble but admittedly unfashionable hot water bottle and embark upon an informed journey into the life of one Archie and his beloved cover Terri. They lead an eventful life, not without sadness and neglect, but nevertheless one in which they continue to serve his royal owner without fault or complaint. Archie and Terri live in a palace with Crystal, a princess who gets into more trouble than is good for her - Somali pirates and phone hacking jostle with tradition in the eventful life they live together. All of the objects in the Palace can speak to each other but not to people, or can they? The shifting dynamic of the object/human relationship leads to changes of attitude on both sides. Archie is an example to us all.

About the Author
Suzie Louis was born in Sydney and left school at 16 to return as a
mature age student at 34 and complete a double degree in classical
literature and law. Older but not wiser, she went to the Bar and
practised as a barrister for many years and a solicitor for several
more. As a lawyer she learnt to write in the spare style you will read
in her novels - 'let's get to the point' being her hallmark. While a
lawyer she started to write fiction. Her first novel 'Deepwater' is
based on a very sad family history. 'The Litigation Junkie' is the
jaundiced distillation of her intimate knowledge of the court system and
hapless coves. Its humorous message is 'stay away'. 'Archie' is pure
fun and fantasy. Suzie writes a blog, Hot-Water-Bottle-Covers-etc where
Archie continues to appear in bite size chunks every day.
